Hey guys! I’m working on the final revisions for my Helvetica poster, and I’m kind of stumped. I was wondering if any of you maybe had thoughts on which version works better… #project3.1

Hi Emma, great to see you’re continuing to work on this and sharing them with us. One thing that could be helpful in order for us to give you more constructive feedback: Could you reiterate your central idea / what you would like to express through this poster? Even smaller details are in many different ways connected to the higher level idea/direction, so clarifying the idea again would help us determine what’s working well/not so well.

  The core idea I was trying to communicate was that helvetica is so omnipresent that it becomes invisible. I wasn’t sure if centering the white/negative space helvetica helped to communicate that or if it is better to move it off to the side. As for the rest of the text, I wanted it to have a relationship with white space (the second 1/2 of the block) that would help communicate the idea of what you don’t see and what isn’t there communicating as much as what is there?? But mostly, I played with arrangements of the text that I thought looked good, so if anyone has any suggestions as to how I can be more thoughtful about that i would really appreciate it :).
